That middle one with the château label is calling my name – 2000 vintage looks promising and I’m curious about how it has aged. The Côte Rôtie would be my second choice since northern Rhône wines are always interesting to try. Your friend has good taste in wines, this is going to be nice evening

Lafite seems to be the obvious answer, but the Clos Le Eglise Pomerol excites me so much. Would be very interested in the side by side of the 2 Bordeaux
