Far Niente, Chardonnay, 2022, 14.3% abv.

Nose: vanilla cream, light butter, light white and yellow fruits, with time it converges to a medium vanilla ice cream, steamed vanilla pods. Wish this was stronger.

Palate: medium body, entry is oak juice, light vinegar, hints of boiled tea leaves, mid palate transitions to a sour vanilla cake, wood and oak from the wine perspective, lots of low level fruit juice supported by a light vanilla cream, back palate shows a vanilla grape juice. Little to no alcohol. Some decent vanilla elements, but the accoutrements don't really support the vanilla elements like some classical meursaults and X-montrachets.

Finish: short, vanilla residue, hints of green grape juice, minimal alcohol if any.

Vernacular: nose shows secondary and

light primary. Medium body, moderate acidity, light to medium secondary, light minerality, no alochol. Short finish, dry, reflects palate.
