I have this small concrete slab on the outside of my house, currently it’s just a space where I chuck my extra gardening supplies and it always looks messy. The rest of my house looks quite lovely and I’m sick of this eyesore. I don’t want the hassle of renting a jackhammer and breaking it up etc. does anyone have any ideas on what it could be used for or ways I could dress it up a little bit? My house is quite cottage-y if that helps. I’m stumped!

Maybe put a planting tableworkbench there so your garden stuff has a space to look organized?
I could see a water feature here…birdbath, simple fountain. The scale of it would have to complement your big shrubs that flank the concrete. Pleasant gurgling water sounds, inviting birds. Plumbed from behind, and along the base of the shingled wall. Perhaps tile the entire pad with simple flagstone…not too busy due to your nice shingles. Maybe several potted shrubs around the base?
A nice chair and table for a private reading area?
If this is a nice place to sit in the winter sun add a chair, small table and potted plant. Maybe a water feature, and steeping stone path to access it.
