Best Happy Hour Manila: Buccaneers Rum & Cocktails Poblacion Makati. Buccaneers is a pirate themed rum and cocktail bar in the trendy district of Poblacion Makati recently opened in May 2019. It was created by Shangri-La at the Fort mixologist Ulysse Jouanneaud from Paris and his partners Vincent Landais and Simon Cote of the celebrated Dr. Wine bar. Take note they have a daily Buy 1 Take 1 Happy Hour from 6PM – 8PM which we consider as one of the Best Happy Hours in Manila!
Upon entering you will feel like you have just entered an old pirate
ship that has been transformed into a dimly lit rum tavern. This 120 seat establishment has extensive wood panelling, barrels, ropes, and even an anchor. They well stocked bar boasts 150 different types of rum from Barbados, Jamaica, Venezuela and more.
From their 1 page pub grub menu we would highly recommend all the dishes we ordered: Pulled Pork Quesadilla, Buffalo Wings, French Fries and Pulled Pork Hot Dog. From their colorful in theme cocktail Menu we would highly recommend the Che Guevara, Dark & Stormy, Let’s Party in Your Mouth and Caipirinha.
We can say after our visit that we had zero hangover and were quite impressed how balanced, flavorful and refreshing the drinks we ordered and look forward to the next visit.
