I would do a seating area facing the fireplace. Furniture on an angle , with a wool or leather rug for fire safety. Just side tables since it doesn’t look like they would be a ton of room to put a coffee table.
Keep the center of the room relatively open– I’d find some big piece of art to put on the far wall.
And a second seating group of occasional chairs on the far side of the 2nd post, with a round rug and round coffee table.
ETA, I missed that the fireplace isn’t functional. I would make it functional! But if this room needs to serve as your primary TV viewing area then remove the fireplace and that’s the corner for the TV.

Take out the non functional fireplace and put TV on stand at angle there. Wall off one of the double entrances so you can have more seating/couch space.
