I haven’t seen this bottle or producer mentioned in this sub, so I wanted to share with everyone a great find from my trip to Italy. I was enjoying the best dinner in Bologna at La Bottega Di Via Montegrappa when the waiter pulls out this bottle. I’m a big mezcal aficionado and loved the idea of volcanic soil terroir. Needless to say, I’m now a big fan! I’ll need to visit Casa Arrigo if I ever visit Silicy.

Tasting Notes: Dry red fruits, little sweetness but more spice and arrid notes of dry earth. If you’ve had Bacanora, it’s say it’s like that.
