I really want my apartment kitchen to feel bright and colorful. I've started to pull that in with the colors in the cooking nook (pic 5). I'd like to bring in some of the orange / pink / lilac to the larger area but I'm not sure how. Paint feels like it might be too much?

Also not convinced on my table. I got it and the chairs at a flea market but the tabletop wobbles a bit and the chairs are uncomfortable. Thinking about replacing it with lighter wood – maybe a circle or square? I had the idea the other day that maybe I could add cushioned benches against the window walls instead of chairs to make it more of a nook but not sure if that would make sense in the space.

And if anyone has any ideas about where to put fruit without taking up too much table space, let me know! Unfortunately I can't screw anything into my ceiling, it's made of flimsy panels.

Any advice is welcome!

A little pain, curtains on lower windows, perhaps a plate holder on the wall near the table, consider a round table. Blue and whites? can you pain the cabinets? white would be great and maybe bule bottoms.
