We just finally got rid of a giant sectional that took up pretty much the entire basement and we want to plan much better this time around. We love using the basement as a place to chill and watch movies.
We just ordered a treadmill that will go in this room and we recently had a baby so having somewhat of an open area would be nice.
We are trying to decide what type of couch/lounger to buy. Open to a smaller couch and some sort of lounge chair too.

maybe try loveseat plus couple bean bags for the flexible seating – works great with little ones crawling around and easy to move when you need space for treadmill
