I was given this phenomenal bottle of a Gamay de Saint Romain in the nouveau style that has revolutionized my opinion on nouveau wines. Candy-like notes, perfect acidity and fruity cherry freshness. And yet I can’t seem to find and figure out anything more about this producer. The email address is cut off at the bottom of the label. The winemaker who gifted it to me said it was “Davide Meunier”. Not sure if I’m spelling that name right but that’s what it sounded like he said…. Does anyone have any info on this? I got it in Beaujolais and given the grape I’m guessing it’s from Loire Department, likely Cote Roannaise…
