Sharing one of the most fulfilling and frustrating projects as a new home owner — a DIY kitchen reno. This is our first home, a 1950s split level that came with a small, stuffy galley kitchen and green carpet everywhere. Ripping out the kitchen was one of the first things we did and boy did we learn from it. It took us about 6 months to finish it all. Probably cost us about 15-18k in total. Super proud of how it turned out!
