• In a bowl, mix 2 tsp instant yeast with 50g sugar and 150ml lukewarm milk. Let it rest for 5’.
• Add 300g all-purpose flour, a pinch of salt, 40g softened butter, and an egg. Knead until a dough forms. Let it rest for an hour.
• When the dough is ready, roll it into a rectangle (medium thickness) on a floured surface.
• In a small bowl, mix 40g softened butter with 1 tsp vanilla extract. Spread this mixture on the dough, then sprinkle 1 tbsp brown sugar.
• Sprinkle 100g chocolate chips (I used dark).
• Roll the dough tightly like a sandwich and cut it into equal parts.
• Transfer them to a baking tray and top with some slivered almonds.
• Bake at 180C until golden.
