In this video, I share five Groffier wines from my cellar — spanning Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards in Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin — and explain why this domaine has earned my long-term trust.
From Chambertin-Clos de Bèze and Bonnes-Mares to Les Amoureuses, Les Sentiers, and Les Hauts-Doix, these wines showcase the precision, balance, and quiet confidence that define Groffier today under Nicolas Groffier.

I´ve only tried their village Gevrey Chambertin. Excellent wine, but if I want to be hard I could as well´ve bought an unoaked or neatral oak aged German spätburgunder for 20€ and get the same experience… I don´t like that many Bourgogne producers cut down drastically on the use of new oak… for me it gave the pinot noir some backbone without destroying the fruit, some think that oak masked the fruit & destroy the wine, but for me it enhanced the fruit and gave the wine so many more positive attributes…
