Looking for a healthy snack for kids? Try these crispy broccoli fries that are super easy, tasty and made without deep frying. Perfect for picky eaters — crunchy outside and soft inside!

You can make these in oven, air fryer or even kadai, so no special equipment needed. Great for lunchbox, evening snacks or finger food.

🥦 Ingredients

1 cup broccoli florets (small pieces)
2 tbsp rice flour / wheat flour
1–2 tbsp oats powder / rava (optional – for crispiness)
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
1 tsp oil

👩‍🍳 Procedure

Preparation:

Wash broccoli and cut into small florets/sticks.
In a bowl, mix flour + oats powder/rava + salt + pepper + garlic powder.
Add broccoli and coat well.
Add oil and mix.

🔥 Oven Method

Preheat oven at 180°C for 10 mins
Line tray with parchment paper
Place in single layer
Bake at 180°C for 12–15 mins
Flip once in between
✅ Golden & crispy ready

🌪️ Air Fryer Method

Preheat at 180°C for 3–5 mins
Place broccoli in basket (single layer)
Air fry at 180°C for 10–12 mins
Shake basket halfway
✅ Super crispy fries ready

🍳 Kadai Method (No oven version)

Heat 1–2 tsp oil in kadai
Add coated broccoli
Cook on low–medium flame
Stir occasionally for even cooking
Cook for 8–10 mins till crispy
✅ Slightly roasted & crispy

Plzz use boiled sweet potato instead of boiled potato (if available)……….sweet potato has betacarotine and vitamin c……..since u added the chilli power the sweetness in sweet potato is balanced…….a hint of garlic will add the antioxidants………make sure the garlic cloves heat under 200° in the same airfryer garlic will loose it's pungent smell and spicyness……. and mix them to the dough texture……..hope u like it👍
