Be honest — which team are you on? 🍷👇
A) Team France 🇫🇷 — centuries of tradition can’t be beaten
B) Team California 🇺🇸 — the results don’t lie
In 1976, a blind tasting in Paris pitted California wines against France’s best. The judges were French experts. They had no idea which wine was which. California won — both red and white. One French judge immediately demanded her scorecard back. The French press barely reported the story.
The tasting became known as the Judgment of Paris. It broke the myth that only France could make great wine — and changed the entire wine world forever.
