Day 31 of our journey to try every single menu item, and we are launching a massive new service at L’Étoile French Restaurant! 🥂 We are now offering our Reserve Wines by the glass—selections that were previously only available by the bottle can now be enjoyed in 3oz or 6oz pours thanks to our new wine station.
We kicked things off with a 6oz pour of the incredible Flaccianello 2017 red wine. To pair with it, we tried two phenomenal dishes:
Slab Bacon Special: This is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. It features thick-cut bacon with an insane caramelized crust, served over a silky sweet potato puree and topped with fresh blackberries and a maple syrup finish.
Côtes de Bœuf a L’Oignons ($28): A rich and comforting dish featuring tender Short Rib prepared with French Onion Soup flavors. It is served in a cast iron skillet with melted Gruyere cheese and crispy crostini.
