Prime Rib French Dip Sandwich 🥩🔥 ⚠️ you’ve been warned ⚠️
If you’re a steak lover… this one might upset you. But once you try it like this, there’s no going back.
This is one of the most ridiculous (and best) sandwiches I’ve ever made.
Ingredients (prime rib): • prime rib • 2 large onions • 4-5 carrots • 1 stalk celery • 2 heads garlic • 1 cup beef bone broth • 1/2 cup red wine • fresh thyme, rosemary, sage • salt, pepper, Montreal steak seasoning • garlic powder, onion powder • 2 onions (for caramelizing) • beef broth + wine (for onions)
Horseradish sauce: • 1/2 cup sour cream • 1/4 cup mayo • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard • 1.5 tbsp horseradish • juice of 1/2 lemon • 1 tbsp Worcestershire • 1 head roasted garlic
Quick steps: • chop veggies, add to pan with broth, wine, herbs • season prime rib, place on top or rack • roast or smoke at 425F • caramelize onions with butter, salt, wine, broth • pull at around 125F – 130F, rest 20 minutes • slice thin, build sandwich, dunk in au jus
Is this a waste of prime rib… or the best way to eat it?

Minus the horse radish sauce that thing looks freaking amazing.
