I know what you mean about W. Fèvre, sold a lot of it yet never tasted it – until last month when I visited. Really good style, but when we tasted a 1er Cru in '23 and looked back onto the same in '19, I realized they really profit from some ageing to open up properly.
I would totally take a pet nat AND a Georgian orange wine to a bbq.
