🍹Amara Methven is a gorgeous new cocktail bar. Perfect after a day on the mountains in winter or an extra treat after a soak at Ōpuke Thermal Pools & Spa.

🍝 Fine Lion in Ashburton can’t be missed. It’s got a beautiful outdoor dining area and inside is also stunning. But let’s focus on the food. We tried the pasta, the dumplings and fried chicken — all a solid 10/10.

🇧🇷 The Green Parrot Methven is run by the loveliest family. Originally from Brazil and now well-known locals. Make sure to order the Brazilian style cheese scones — also known as cheese balls or pão de queijo.
