The moment you step in, you are greeted by a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that balances sleek modern design with the soul of a neighborhood bistro. A perfect spot for a quick lunch or a relaxed after-work hangout.
To kick things off, I reached for a classic Aperol Spritz. It was exactly what the doctor ordered: crisp, refreshing and the ideal palate cleanser before the feast. For the starter, the Foie Gras was incredibly creamy and rich, served atop a unique, spongy pancake that acted like a delicious sponge, soaking up every drop of the savoury sauce.
The mains did not disappoint, especially the Bœuf Bourguignon. This stew was packed with deep, robust flavours, featuring thick, succulent chunks of beef cheek that were so tender they practically melted at the touch of a fork. To end on a high note, the Tarte Fine aux Pommes (Apple Tarte) provided a delicate, sweet finish with its thin, crisp crust and perfectly caramelised apples. With almost every dish priced under $20, this is easily one of the most value-for-money French dining experiences you can find in Singapore.
