Eles chamam o folhado sem recheio de croissant.E chamam o croissant recheado de pão.
Tudo errado esses franceses.🙄
Thank you for more recommendations for our upcoming fall visit
Good morning from NYC croissant first to the left side of ND there is a small bakery that I feel had the best croissants, the smell lead me to them. I have not tried the crepes yet but I am very soon. I liked the cheese and mushrooms, that looks good. Your final stop was also an excellent choice. I have been following you both for 18 months now and I listen and take your advice. Great video I will be returning around early June just for a couple of days to hang out. Merci Rick NYC
The editing in your video is fantastic❤
Thanks for this video. It’s getting me all excited for my two-month stay. I love markets this time of year in Paris because it’s strawberry and asparagus season. Hurray!
Thanks for the suggested places. I don’t like videos of people eating and talking while eating but I love to hear about places to eat so here I am. LOL!
Thank you for a tour of the neighborhood we stay in when in Paris! Been to some, but added a few new places to my list. Agree that Alain Ducasse makes some of the best chocolat in Paris. It's fun to visit the manufacture in the 11th.
These food videos always leave my mouth watering, I really need to visit France one day.
Coming to Paris in 6 weeks and just added some more stops on my map! Thanks for the recommendations!
She is an awesome guide. I did a tour with her in May 2025. Highly recommend her if you are in Paris
What was the name of the bakery?
Les Frenchies this adventure was brilliant just what I needed in the middle of Lent and an Ember day. But my bosses were drooling and on the phone with their poor PAs to have a "little something" for Easter .Magnificent. Loving Sylvia hope her team can put up with my bosses.
Tried the Aux Merveilleux de Fred in Madrid- loved it!
When y'all make Beef Bourguignon at home, do you follow a certain recipe, like Julia's? Make your own? Put your spin on a certain recipe?
Saved some of those. The last meringues looked amazing! Thanks!
When I am in Paris, I also go for the Pistachio Praline from Alain Ducasse.
Were some of your stops on Rue Moufetard?
Some Americans would probably think : "roasted chicken ? We have that in the US !" …. Well, you can't compare the flavor of chicken raised outside in a small organic farm, eating the best organic grain, and US mass produced chicken washed with bleach.
I love your videos but no need to use the Lord's name in vain. That was unnecessary.
The next time I’m in Paris, I am recreating this day! Everything looks amazing.
I don't think of gruyere as a particularly "sharp" cheese. But I adore it. I love watching Colleen eat. She is my food spirit animal.
I have found Comte' at room temperature inedible. Cool is O.K., but not at (American) room temperature.
Merci for this amazing food tour!
I would like the name of the fruit stand please, if anyone knows where that is. Thank you
Love your videos. Coming in September and exploring many of your recommendations. Comment on language. In the scene about the bathroom please edit out the language about my Lord and Savior. Surprised you left that in. It wasn’t Anton who said that.
Right, so now you have shown everybody the best places to go?! Why?! I always try and stay in the Latin 1/4 because the tourists don’t like to walk that far. Hmmmmm…….
This was the best day!! Silvia’s tour was absolutely amazing. Having Antoine & Colleen along was icing on the cake. 😊 When Silvia tells you not to book a dinner reservation for the evening of this tour….seriously don’t!!
It was the onion soup! The other day Colleen had some onion soup that she said didn't go with the Champagne (I think this means I'm watching way too many of your videos….:-) )
Sometime (or, maybe you already have, somewhere) it would be helpful to explain such "false friend" English cognates as praline. I know there are others, but don't know if there are food-related others (just betting that there are some). Thanks for all your work!
A list of the locations in the description would be great!
When I first bit into a Merveilleux de Fred, I was like, "omg, I just ate a cloud." It was absolutely delicious, but so different from what I expected.
Apres avoir vu cette video, j'ai beaucoup de faim. Merci milles fois pour vos recommadations. J'adore vos videos!!!
Happy Saterday
it looks like you passed my favorite wine shop on Rue Mouffetard!
I've watched this four times already today! (Kept rewinding whilst on my treadmill run, then had to watch again later!) Love you all and just dream of returning to Paris one day! My cousin was just there with her high school class and daughter so of course, it's even more top of mind!
THE coolest thing about this video is that the other couple had booked a tour with Syliva, and look who showed up!
You guys forgot to tell us which boulangerie that you visited.
Please don’t take the Lord’s name in vain. It’s lower than low take your own mother’s name in vain if you want to take someone’s precious name in vain.
Thank you so much for showing me some great places in the Latin Quarter as I will be staying there in early October.
Merci !
Cheese pull ain't got nothin' on a croissant pull! 😁 Love the video! Peace!
Oh my … haven’t seen this channel. come across my feed in two or three years, appreciating the crunch of those croissants, but holy moly, Um shocked Colleen has ballooned twice as big since. Watch your health, guys!
Oh my gosh! That's the boulangerie near my hotel. The concierge at Hôtel des Arènes recommended Boulangerie Guyot Ferreira. So good!
about École polytechnique : that was the first location, they moved to Palaiseau (south of Paris) many many years ago, it's not here anymore. There is still the name. This said : now, i need to try this bœuf bourguignon.
Colleen, one thing that I think doesn't go with champagne: artichokes! Which is sad!
