Chocolat Chaud 🍫
– 150g of 70% cacao dark chocolate
– 1 cup whole milk
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
– Pinch of salt

You can also add a tbsp of sugar if you like it a bit sweeter ☺️

Whipped Cream
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1 tbsp vanilla extract
– 2 tbsp white sugar (optional, if you like a sweeter whipped cream!)

In a saucepan on medium low heat, add whole milk and heavy cream. Whisk well until it starts to simmer, then add your chopped chocolate and salt.

Stir constantly until the chocolate is completely melted, simmering for 3 to 5 minutes. Make sure not to boil, otherwise it will reduce too much.

Using a stander mixer or mixing bowl and a whisk, add heavy cream, vanilla extract and optional sugar and whisk until stiff peaks form.
Set aside or refrigerate until needed to.
