I always make sure to put it on a cookie sheet.
Lots of olive oil inside and out helps. The oil fries and lightens the crust. Prebaking is great innovation
I place the half loaf diagonally and then it fits…
What if I told you that you can make great French bread pizzas without soaking each brrad slice in numerous liquids?
Running low on recipe ideas. Next time they can show us how to make toast.
French people: Tell us how you really feel about that bread being called 'French bread'. 😂
You mean zapiekanka?
There is no other food that I ate as a teen, bar none, that I repeatedly burned the entire roof of my mouth, than when i ate Stouffer’s French Bread Pepperoni Pizza. I simply could not wait for it to cool. Then there was the added pain of the crust serving as a serrated knife that cut gashes my mouth which only added to the burn pain intensity. And yet when my mom asked me what I wanted for a snack I always came back for more because they were so tasty.
Thank you for not expecting me to bake my own French bread
My mouth is watering. Could you bake these on a pizza stone as well or is it better on the baking sheet?
Just as I was thinking how nasty it is to have pieces of tomato in the sauce she comments on how great it is.
Thomas English Muffin Pizza in a pinch.
I've also used bagels, English muffins, and even matzoh.
Thank you!
Why not cut it in thirds to fit?
ATK always refers to granulated garlic, which I've never seen said item in any store. Is it an East Coast term for garlic powder?
If it doesn't burn the roof of your mouth, it's not French Bread Pizza.
That baguette* is comically long, like something out of an SNL skit.
*I'm not 100% certain that everything I think of as a "baguette" is actually a baguette. I genuinely do not know.
Thank you
Listening to those two grunt through the whole program and then finally grunting when they're eating the pizza is disgusting
My childhood❤Thank you
Why wouldn't you cut off the rounded end or better yet lay them on a diagonal and use the whole loaf
These great ladies visited my home town show "The Jason Show' a few weeks ago. Funny ladies!!!
Yummy!! Can’t wait to try it. Perfect for my husband and me.
. . . olive oil – here we go. . . butter – here we go. . . cheese – here we go. . . 'pepperoni' – here we go. . . no wonder why half of the Murricans are getting fat – fatter – fattest . . .
TURN AUTO-DUB OFF..THUMBS DOWN
Pepperoni shrink when cooked so only 7 slices per piece of bread seems like too little to me.
I’ll probably will never get past the toasted butter bread 🙂 but I can’t wait to try (and make) this 🙂
I would gladly eat what these fine ladies made. Thank you ATK. But I'm too lazy to make that. I'm happy with embellishing, cooking and eating the frozen store bought frozen French Bread Pizza, (red/black box), product.
Stoughfers changed there recipes , there french bread pizza is awful now .
❤❤
I'd probably cut the pepperoni slices into wedges like they do on the red box stuff just for the effect.
