Search for:



1. Make sure to photograph not only the front label of the bottle, but ALSO the back label! There are literally millions (yes, insane) of unique wines/labels that are produced each year. Each retailer only has the ability to carry a TINY fraction of what is out there, so if the shop does not recognize the label of the wine, they can always use the information on the back label to try and hunt down this bottle for you!⁠

2. If you are traveling abroad, it is very likely that some of the wines you have are not available in the U.S. Since many international wineries have small production sizes, they have no reason to import their wines into the United States. For that reason, it will make it nearly impossible for U.S. retailers to find that wine. However, an expert wine consultant at a great retail store can help point you in the direction of a selection that will be fairly similar and may even come from the same region or grape variety!⁠
