  1. This also concerns animal welfare, US salmonella contamination occurs through intense battery farming requiring them to have the poop washed off.

  2. Well washing them takes off a protective layering that helps preserve the freshness. Washing that off exposes the egg to oxygen that can penetrate the egg easier without the protective coating.

  3. Now, the butthole that's the part of the animal that the food goes into, right, it's otherwise, I've been feeding my birds wrong. The entire time. I just put the food in the end that the bird talks out of which is his a**. He's lying. He's not telling the truth, don't believe a thing. He says, i'm the best president there ever is

  4. To be fair. It's not even that most countries have free healthcare. It's just you pay like a reasonable amount. Like when I was in Japan, they have free healthcare, but you still pay like a reasonable fee-based on how much money you have. Like, you still have to contribute, but you know, you're not going to be like homeless, just because you have to pay for some medication that you need to live.

  5. I ate chicken sashimi in Iwate from chicken which was raised on special salmonella free farms. Likely vaccinated birds.

  6. In the UK, salmonella is now completely eradicated from chicken stock. Which suggests one system is more effective.

  7. Salmonella: The US reports higher rates, with 79,000 illnesses and 30 deaths annually from contaminated eggs alone. In contrast, Public Health England reported zero deaths from non-typhoidal salmonella in 2016.

  8. If following a French recipe when cooking that is heavily egg based, you should bring your refrigerated eggs to room temp in warm water first since they do not refrigerate theirs. It does actually affect the texture of the final dish if you start cooking from cold vs from room temp.

  9. I lived in Japan for a long time. Their eggs are just superior. Idk if it's the chickens or what. I assume they're not washed though, because most places don't refrigerate them.

  10. Uk here. I love your down-the-middle analysis.
It's a bit like the observation that tea-towels have maybe 1 million bacteria per square inch: oh, well that's fine then.
How is it fine? We're not all dying from tea-towel related infections, QED it's fine!

  11. He must have taken him back to his village, so if we find the village, we find him, and if we find him, we find Kuzco. Oh, yeah, it's all Coming together.
