It's impossible to say… one person might like a robust Spanish wine, another a slightly sweeter French one, a third a light Italian one… a light German wine is appropriate for a hearty meat dish… such questions are unanswerable. It also depends on the occasion, not in a word like 'famous'. At least a Riesling Just 'can' be from Germany…
