A French Feast at Alouette

And I have to say, Alouette’s tableside tartare is the best I’ve had recently. It’s one of my favourite dishes but I’d had a few disappointing ones recently and was about to write the French classic off altogether. Until I had Alouette’s.

The seasoning is traditional and perfectly dialed and the Sourdough by Nelson the Seagull is an excellent conduit.

The escargot is another French classic that Alouette executes well.

The romantic dining room offers intimate privacy or you can grab a seat at the bar that plays Casablanca on a loop, a detail that I love!
