온난화때문인지 알콜이 높아지는것 같아요.
2019까지 14도 였는데 2022부터는 15도로 나오더라고요.ㅎㅎ

100불 언저리에 구매하셨다면, 요즘 버건디 가격을 생각했을 때 오히려 가성비라고 느껴질 만큼 훌륭했습니다. 농밀함과 균형이 모두 인상적이었고, 만족도가 상당히 높았습니다.
Flowers Chardonnay
1–2일 차에는 잘 만든 샤르도네라는 인상이었는데, 3일 차에 완전히 다른 모습을 보여주었습니다. 향이 훨씬 복합적으로 살아나고, 구조감도 정돈되면서 마치 버건디를 연상시키는 느낌으로 변했습니다. 꼭 시간을 두고 드셔보시길 추천드립니다.
Château Giscours
최근 마신 보르도 중 가장 농밀했던 와인 중 하나였습니다. 100불 언저리에서 만날 수 있는 최고의 선택지 중 하나라고 느꼈고, 몇 년의 숙성을 거치면 훨씬 더 특별해질 잠재력이 있어 보입니다.
Château d’Issan
지금 마시기에는 매우 좋았습니다. 다만 개인적으로는 지스꾸르만큼 강한 인상을 남기지는 않았습니다.
Ridge 2023
붉은 과실 향과 입안에서의 질감 표현이 상당히 좋았습니다. 다만 제 개인 취향상 라즈베리 캐릭터가 도드라지는 스타일을 선호하지 않아, 2022 빈티지가 조금 더 마음에 들었습니다.
Ridge 2022
2023의 완성도에 더해 검은 과실의 비중이 높아 조금 더 진중하고 밀도감 있는 와인으로 느껴졌습니다. 개인적으로는 이쪽이 더 균형감 있게 다가왔습니다.

거의 완벽한 피노가 아닌가 싶습니다. 정말 흠잡을데가 없어서, 애호가분이시면 꼭 테이스팅 해보셨으면 좋겠습니다
"Flowers Pinot"
알콜이 조금 튀는게 아쉬웠지만, 잘 만든 전형적인 RRV 피노 같이 느껴졌습니다.
Roccalini Barbaresco
과거에 소량 시음했을 때, 잔을 뚫고 나오는 향의 강렬함에 감동받아 이번 테이스팅에 포함시켰습니다. 하지만 이번 병은 결함이 있어 아쉬움이 컸습니다. 좋은 컨디션의 병을 만나신다면 꼭 경험해보시길 추천드립니다.

강렬한 감동을 주는 스타일은 아니었지만, 흠잡을 데 없이 균형 잡힌, 교과서적인 바르바레스코라는 인상을 받았습니다. 안정감 있는 선택지라고 생각합니다.

Aubert
If you purchased this around the $100 range, considering how much Burgundy prices have risen, it almost feels like a value play. The concentration and balance were impressive, and overall, it delivered exceptional quality for the price.
Flowers Chardonnay
On Day 1 and 2, it simply felt like a well-made Chardonnay. But by Day 3, it transformed completely. The aromatics became far more complex, the structure more refined, and it took on an almost Burgundian character. I highly recommend giving this wine some time after opening.
Château Giscours
One of the most concentrated Bordeaux wines I’ve had recently. Around the $100 mark, I would consider this one of the strongest options available. With a few more years of aging, it has the potential to become truly special.
Château d’Issan
Very enjoyable right now and drinking beautifully. However, it didn’t leave quite the same level of impression as Giscours did.
Ridge 2023
Lovely red fruit aromatics and excellent texture on the palate. Personally, I’m not a big fan of wines where raspberry notes dominate, so I found myself preferring the 2022 vintage slightly more.
Ridge 2022
It carries the same level of precision as 2023 but with more dark fruit expression, making it feel more serious and structured. For my palate, this vintage showed better overall balance.
Williams Selyem
This felt very close to a near-perfect Pinot Noir. It was incredibly polished, with virtually nothing to criticize. If you’re a serious Pinot lover, this is absolutely a wine you should experience at least once.
Flowers Pinot Noir
The alcohol showed slightly on the finish, which was a bit noticeable, but overall it felt like a well-crafted, classic Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Balanced, expressive, and stylistically true to the region.
Roccalini Barbaresco
I previously had a small tasting of this wine and was deeply impressed by how the aromatics leapt out of the glass, which is why I included it in this lineup. Unfortunately, this particular bottle was flawed, which was disappointing. If you come across a good bottle, it’s absolutely worth trying.

It wasn’t an emotionally overwhelming wine, but it was flawless in structure and balance. A very textbook example of Barbaresco — precise, classic, and dependable.
bottle and glass positioning need to match. otherwise its too confusing which one is he actually tasting and talking about😅
Very interesting tasting! Two points: 1st: no point ratings given 2nd: I would have added Burgundies to the Chardonnay and Pinot tastings
Would the faulted wines be bottle specific or would those span across the vintage, or maybe tank or barrel specific or something like that.
Really not loving the use of AI imagery to represent the notes. Very heavy handed and very AI slop looking. I’ve got the imagine there’s a way to get better AI content that looks more natural.

Would have loved to have scored for each wine. The really helps understanding the price/quality ratio better.
I think a natural effervescence is perfectly fine in a white wine, even Charodnnay, especially if the wine is young.
The Produttori Barbaresco I buy almost every year. It can age and is under 30 euro in Europe. Great bang for the bucks!
This was not a blind tasting for Patrick. If he knows what the wines are, he can pick them out no problem. You can put bags on them, you can hide them in the next room, you can even blindfold Patrick… if you let him know what he is about to taste ahead of time then you might as well just put the bottles on the table in front of him without the bags because it’s the same thing.
The CO2 is not nessecarily from refermentation, but a lot of more natural producers use a much more reductive process to protect the wine from oxidation without adding sulfites before bottling. Thus often bottling with some CO2 still present. On purpose. But with some SO2 as well at that point to avoid refermentation. So not nessecarily a defect, if the flavour is good.

좋은 비교 잘 보았습니다. 말씀하신 것 중에 이산화탄소로 인한 것도 결함으로 보고 레스토랑에서 교환이 가능한것일까요…?
Flower Pinot는 마신 곳 영향이 있어서인지 (해변가 레스토랑) 아님 빈티지 양향인지 finesse보단 과숙된 느낌이 강해서 전 불호였는데 바틀 문제였을 수 있나보네요
개인적으로는 Castello di Ama San Lorenzo가 껴서 기쁩니다. 좋아하는 생산자가 뽑혀서 좋네요 ㅎㅎ
근데 오베르 저 빈은 경매 아니고선 100불은 구하기 힘들지 않나요?;;;; (다들 어디서 사시는지 ㅎㅎ) 스펙테이터에서 말하는 가격은 뭔가 가끔 말이 안되는것 같아요
