🏠 The Red House Cafe in Pacific Grove is cozy, charming, and super welcoming. They’re serving up some of the best elevated homestyle breakfast/brunch (and lunch & dinner) dishes on Lighthouse Avenue!
What we savored today:
🍞 Brioche French Toast with marble butter, strawberries and homemade whipped cream. Seriously one of my favorite French toasts that I have had. It was light and not overlay sweet.
🍣 Smoked Salmon on a Potato Pancake topped with a poached egg and avocado. It doesn’t get much more “breakfast in California” than this! The potato pancake was crispy and flavorful and the perfect foundation for the salmon. So good!
🍳 Housemade Chorizo and eggs with a side of potatoes. The chorizo was perfectly seasoned and not overly greasy like some can be. The potatoes are boiled, then cooked on the blacktop with a housemade herb oil and topped with Parmesan cheese. I would come back just for the potatoes. And the Italian ketchup is a must to go with it!
🦀 Crabcake Eggs Benedict. This was the star of the show for me! Crossiants were topped with crabcakes, hollandaise sauce and poached eggs. So flavorful and the perfect breakfast to start your day along the Monterey Bay!
🙌🏽 Everything was so good! I seriously couldn’t believe it. Literally each dished just got better and better. Homemade taste with friendly service. I couldn’t ask for a much better experience than that.
