While returning from a trip to Europe, flying with Emirates, I was very impressed to find J M Cazes Domaine de l’Ostal Grand Vin Cru La Liviniere 2023 being served to Economy Class passengers. I think this is a wine that would have fitted on the Premium Economy wine list and quit possibly in Business Class. I flew the last leg of this trip, Brisbane to Auckland, with Qantas – the nondescript single-serve bottle of Chardonnay I was given on that flight was inoffensive, but served to highlight how good the Emirates offering that preceded it had been
