A little birthday adventure to Pont du Gard in the south of France with my mom @tinastephensart ✨
We haven’t celebrated my birthday together since I moved to France 6 years ago, so this one felt extra special. Getting to spend it exploring somewhere so breathtaking — unexpected winter sunshine, ancient stone, and some delicious wine we bought at a local vineyard — was truly the best gift.
My mom @tinastephensart is an incredible landscape artist, often painting scenes from my photos in France and placing them in vintage frames I hunt for at flea markets — and now that she’s visiting, she’s gathering her own inspiration (and of course, we’re still on the lookout for more frames 😉).
Watching her take it all in, sketch, snap photos, and soak up all of the south was such a full-circle moment. There’s something so special about sharing France — and now my birthday — together again after all these years 🤍
If you love peaceful, sun-drenched, impressionist-inspired landscapes, keep an eye out — this golden southern scenery will definitely be making its way into her beautiful work soon!
