Our Linkwood 2015 • 10 Year Old • 61% takes a classic Speyside spirit and gives it a distinctly French twist — thanks to an extended finish in an ex–White Pineau des Charentes cask.
White Pineau comes from the Charentes region of western France, where fresh grape must is blended with Cognac eau-de-vie and matured in oak. The result is a delicately sweet fortified wine known for honey, dried fruit and elegant floral notes — exactly the kind of profile that transforms Linkwood’s natural orchard-fruit character.
After 2 years and 8 months in this cask, the whisky has taken on layers of honeyed sweetness, spiced orchard fruit and soft herbal depth.
Nose: green apple skins, citrus peel, rose petals, freshly cut grass
Palate: dill, fennel, spiced orange, apple pastry, heather honey
Finish: long, buttery, oily — pure shortbread richness
Exclusively available through our stockists.
A beautifully expressive Linkwood shaped by the French coast and the Charentes vineyards
