It is misplaced for Trump to fault the Supreme Court for rejecting his tariff strategy. The proper course would have been to seek explicit authority from Congress. Instead, he spent the past year unlawfully collecting tariff revenues, only to now face the obligation of refunding them. This approach has proven wasteful and counterproductive. In countries led by seasoned ministers, the risks of such ill‑considered tactics are recognized early, and avoided.

it was a very dangerous precedent, had trump won, it would have expanded trump's power and overriding the constitution. Luckily the majority of the judges chose to protect the constitution. Those 3 judges sided with the tariff is not because the law say so, is because it would be messy refunding. They didn't defend the constitution, they chose to bypass it. It is not the duty of the judges to make personal opinions , their job is to interpret the law, they didn't
