  1. Homemade French Baguettes (Bakery-Style)

    Ingredients:
    – 800 g all-purpose flour
    – 15 g salt
    – 600 ml water (lukewarm)
    – 16 g instant dry yeast (baker’s yeast)

    Instructions:
    1. In a large bowl, add the flour and salt. Mix briefly.
    2. Add the water and instant dry yeast. Mix roughly until combined.
    3. Knead the dough using a stand mixer until smooth and elastic.
    4. Cover the bowl and let the dough rest for 1 hour in a warm place.
    5. Gently deflate the dough and transfer it to a floured work surface.
    6. Flour your hands, form the dough into a ball, then divide it into equal pieces.
    7. Shape each piece into a long baguette by folding, sealing the seam well, and rolling gently.
    8. Place the shaped dough onto a baguette baking tray.
    9. Let the baguettes rest for 45 minutes at room temperature.
    10. Score the tops with a sharp knife.
    11. Pour some water into the bottom tray of the oven to create steam.
    12. Bake at 220°C (430°F) for 30–35 minutes until golden and crusty.
