Equity Group continues to open global pathways for Kenyan tea farmers by supporting premium high-altitude tea production and access to international markets.
The event was graced by the Murang’a County Governor, the French Ambassador to Kenya, and Equity Group leadership led by Chairman Prof. Isaac Macharia and Group CEO & Managing Director Dr. James Mwangi.
In partnership with the French Embassy and the Government of Kenya, stakeholders advanced efforts to secure Geographical Indication (GI) status for Kenyan tea, while spotlighting Gatura Greens Tea Farm’s rare purple tea during a tasting session with Palais des Thés.
