$65 for 4.5 courses | Dine Out Vancouver
Finally got to try the new and popular French restaurant, Chez Celine. They are a sister restaurant to Michelin star St. Lawrence.
What we ordered from their $65 pp Dine Of Vancouver menu:
🐌 Escargot flatbread: we enjoyed this so much and the fresh housemade bread was spectacular.
🐟 Beef tartare + anchovies: I still liked the bread but it was a bit too fluffy to eat with the tartare (pieces of tartare kept falling off). The squirt of lemon balanced out the tartare with anchovies, but if your bite doesn’t have anchovies, it is too sour for me.
🥩 Grilled T-bone steak (+$30): tender, easy to eat and a delicious sauce.
🍟 Frites: good standard fries
🍮 Maple caramel flan: at first I thought it may be too sweet but the salt, maple and slight bitterness actually balanced out.
Loewe’s rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
