Paris France Charles De Gaulle Airport Red Wine Harpazo soon! Used this lounge while waiting for my Singapore Airlines flight.

Joy is often treated like a fragile thing — here today, gone tomorrow, dependent on good news and easy days. But the Christian faith speaks of a deeper joy: one rooted in salvation, not circumstances.

It’s the kind of joy that can hold you steady in trial and pain, because it rests on a God who is wise, merciful, and never absent. It doesn’t deny suffering — it gives suffering meaning. God can use even hard seasons to shape us, refine us, and make us more like His Son.

The Bible says, “Though now for a little while… you have been grieved by various trials… the tested genuineness of your faith… may be found to result in praise and glory” (1 Peter 1:6–7).

And this joy changes us too: “The joy of the LORD is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10).

Even death is not the end — eternal joy is promised, because Jesus reigns. Harpazo soon! Lord Jesus will come again!
