Looks amazing! I'd definitely try it!
The Chef AND the waiter have the same names?! WOW
La Coupole had a total restoration not many years ago, so it HAS definitely changed since 1927. I think its' actually a whole new building into where they've put some of the old interior and scraped out old paintings of some original pillars. It shows in this video. Total different buildings. Maybe they kept the bottom, gutted it and put some back. And as far as I know, and I know a lot about him, Hemingway avoided La Coupole because he couldn't relax there, too many American tourists. Also, other places were nearer to where he lived, Closerie des Lilas, Lipp f.e.
Beef tartar😂is that Mr. Bean try to get rid of it?😂
Traditional French classics like sauerkraut? Well, now.
I have been learning French through Duolingo for 371 days now and I didn't understand one word said from all the French speakers. I have a long way to go. Hopefully I will be forgiven when I visit later this year.
Someday I will go to France!
