In this video, I recreate Julia Child’s iconic Beef Bourguignon, first published in Mastering the Art of French Cooking in 1961. More than just a recipe, this dish represents Julia Child’s lasting legacy and her role in bringing classic French cuisine into American homes.
I walk through the historical context of the dish, Julia Child’s influence on modern cooking, and why Beef Bourguignon became one of the most recognizable recipes of the 20th century. Then I cook the dish step by step and give my honest review of the final result. Enjoy!

Oh i thought it was more difficult to make than that
Growing up in 60s just about everything my mom made came from a box or a can. She drew the line at Spaghetti O's, Tang and TV dinners though.
Looks delicious! 👏🏼 solid recipe!
Your plating is spectacular
Random but does anyone remember Martin Yan? Yan Can Cook.

The way you explain it seems so simple. The way others talk about it makes it seem complicated, now I want to try it, Thank you
