  1. Ingredients

    For the casserole:
    • 12 ounces King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
    • 6-8 large eggs
    • 1 ½ cups 2% milk
    • ¼ cup heavy cream
    • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
    • ½ tablespoon vanilla extract
    • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

    For the topping:
    • ¼ cup granulated sugar
    • ¼ cup brown sugar
    • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 3 tablespoons salted butter (cold)

    Instructions
    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray. Slice the rolls into 1-inch cubes and place the bread evenly in the prepared pan.
    2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Whisk until the eggs are broken up and well combined with the other ingredients. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread.
    3. Place the topping ingredients in a medium bowl. Use a pastry cutter or two knives to cut the butter into the topping until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle the streusel over the casserole.
    4. Cover the casserole with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Then uncover and bake an additional 20 minutes (or until set and golden).

Optional: Top with fresh berries and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

  2. HEAR ME OUT!!
My mom makes this. Cover the cut up bread pan with a towel and leave it out overnight to stale. THEN add all your wet ingredients the morning of the breakfast and bake! It comes out soft and crunchy!
