La Paulée, last fall.🍷
La Paulée is a Burgundian tradition that dates back centuries. It’s a communal feast held at the end of harvest where vineyard workers, winemakers, and friends gather to share the wines they’ve brought.
I brought two bottles: a 2020 Grand Cru Pinot Noir and a 2019 Grand Cru Chardonnay, both from Burgundy. This was my second dinner with this wonderful wine community, and I’ve learned so much already. The wines are exceptional, but it’s the people and conversation that make these evenings unforgettable.
