Moesha 13 is a French producer, singer and DJ, and Nikolaj owns the effortlessly cool wine bar, Ivresse. In this episode of Detour, the friends spend a summer day in France’s sun-bleached second city, Marseille. They begin by visiting art gallery and cafe, La Traverse. They meander to the coast at Malmousque to take a dip in the sea from the rocks, before fuelling up on vegan pastries from patisserie Oh Faon! In the evening, they grab drinks from Nikolaj’s bar, Ivresse, before heading to party at underground venue Spazio.
In each episode of Detour, local creatives take us to visit the hidden gems of their city, from the best places to eat and shop to where to go after dark.

I was in marseille for a week in July after being in Barcelona and Arles for a month, and may I say that marseille is beautiful. I am from New York City so I understand the nature of labeling cities as "dangerous and nasty". If you come to any major city with a closed mind you will be outted. Come to marseille, enjoy the beaches, try foods from all over the world, and immerse yourself into this amazing city. I will be actively trying to move there at some point in the near future!
Makes me wanna go to marseille asap ! Next summer for sure !

I must go to Marseille. The vegan patisserie gave me a rush of endorphins. Touring in Europe I rarely have a chance to indulge in all the beautiful confections because I am allergic to dairy. Seeing this makes me very happy 🇫🇷 ❤
