Poached eggs in RED WINE?! 🍷🍳 This French classic (Œufs en Meurette) is pure comfort in a bowl. Crispy bacon, silky red wine sauce, and perfectly poached eggs on toasted sourdough. Trust me, you NEED to try this.

Poached eggs in red wine… would you try this? 🍷🍳
This classic French dish is Œufs en Meurette — crispy bacon, mushrooms, onions, toasted sourdough, and that silky red wine sauce 🤌
Would you try this French classic? Drop a 🍷 if yes!
This sounds such a strange combination that I can't ever imagine me making this. However, curiosity has made me bookmark it for . . .
Dafuq is that accent? Cockney frog? 😅
🫣
Nice, soggy tasty bread
What is it called again? "Őőő amörett"? 🤮🤮🤮 French is such an ugly language bro
I've never heard an accent like that, i actually thought you had said "figs" initially
It looks gross
I’m m going to sit this one out
Looks so yummy!! 😋
Oh my lord that looks so good!! 😅
My favourite breakfast ever, highly recommend to everyone. However I prefer to use Brioche instead of Sourdough since Pinot Noir is rather acidic, but thats just my opinion.
FYI outside of France its called Burgundian Eggs
What are pooched eggs 😂😂😂
Remember doing "Petites brioches a la Moelle au Sabaion de Bourgueil" for a Xmas dinner and everybody saying then didn't want it. Then everyone asking to have one…
Wait until it's on the table. Smell it. Look at it. If you don't like it it's ok, not everyone likes every dish.
But don't reject it because of how it sounds. Try it.
This seems like a lot of effort when poached eggs are pretty tasty already 🤔
