  1. Sam that soup looks soo good. Can you tell me what do leeks compare to. I've never had them.😊❤

  3. Hello, Sam! I LOVE Leek and Potato Soup and have not been brave enough to prepare it myself! You make everything look so easy and delicious. Sean definitely enjoyed his lovely bowl of soup, bon appétit 😋🍲Miss seeing your mum and Titch, hope they are doing well!🥰
Take care and save some soup for yourself and your cameraman! 😉💖

  4. Yum! I was just thinking about making some. I add chicken and a carrot or two. Ham/bacon would be good also but not tried it. I also cheat a bit and cook the potatoes about 3/4 done in the microwave. 😉

  5. it seems to be so much easier in France to obtain and eat whole, real and healthy foods. Hopefully things will change in the U.S. in the next few years, so that we can live healthy lives too. Thanks for sharing another delicious looking recipe with us, Sam. 🙂

  6. We call anything that drops on the floor "offering to the cooking gods", or "cooking tax". The soup looked yummy. I guess to make it fancy you could make extra bacon and add it on top for crunch or maybe croutons, maybe even a little bit of the cremfresh? (spel?). I like the bloopers. I like how it looks real and not staged. 🙂

  7. I love to watch you cook, Sam. You make it look so easy and delicious. Oh my word, i am feeling hungry at the moment 😋 xx

  8. I made a soup similar to that a while back. It had leeks, turnips, persnips, onion, celery, carrots, salt, pepper, and dill with chicken in a chicken stock. Really delicious. My daughter added rice to hers to stretch it out more. ❤

  9. Another wonderful recipe! My mother used to make "potato soup" back in the 70's. She would make it with milk (skim), potatoes, white onions, salt & pepper, celery and chicken stock. It was a time when the health reports recommended less fat (wrong information), and my father was told to cut back on his fats and was put on cholesterol medicine. We found out that didn't help. Anyway, I love potato soup. Your recipe would be much better. But I am on a low carb diet, so I've cut out potatoes. But I know it would be yummy! Lynn in AZ
