  1. I've made mushroom bourguignon many times and it is delish! I will have to try this method as mushrooms really soak up sauces.

  2. Still love the hardtack clack, channel is one of my favorites I especially love the WW2 you should also do WW1 home fronts.
    Thanks Max looking forward to 2026

  3. If you arent using leftover stewed beef, there's no need to use two pans, just throw everything in one pot, and stew for three hours, let water evaporate as you prefer.

  4. Hey max, I know this is out of left field, but I am 90% sure that I saw your face on a Ron John surf shop billboard on i-75 in Northern Florida.

  5. Seriously, dude, hire someone to be the face of your show. Your voice is so annoying I can only listen to about 30 seconds before cutting the clip. The content is great but you're not.

  6. I really wish people hadn't discovered short ribs and drove the price up to $17/lb.!!! I bet that rib fat made the sauce incredible!

  7. While we’re on the subject of beef, I’d love to see a video from you on the history of Wagyu beef. I’ve been trying to find info on the history of it and many of the results I’ve found are from companies that sell Wagyu beef and thus have a tendency to perpetuate some of the myths and half-truths about how Wagyu cattle were historically raised, which makes it difficult to sift through and find the facts in a sea of companies embellishing their products’ history. If this isn’t on the horizon, do you (or does anyone else in the comments) have any recommendations for resources I could look into?

  8. One of our Air Force cadets and I made Julia Child's version and holy crap, it took all day. We'd never lit any food on fire before and I was convinced my kitchen cabinets were going to become bbq'd. :}

  9. Can you do cassoulet? It's my favorite dish from any culture that's leftovers thrown together ;).

  10. 4:51 I wonder if the original recipe actually meant “raw” pork belly as used here or something cured (even if just salt cured and not smoked).

  11. The Max Miller of 2167: "Back in 2026, hot dogs cut up in boxed mac n' cheese wasn't considered a delicacy!"

  12. Dear Max: As a long time fan, I naturally long to see others reassure me that I am certifiably, definitely not insane for having watched most of your videos a couple dozen times. I am therefore pleased to report that in the last few weekends I have found a great many reaction videos to your work from VTubers.

    Seriously, no joke, there's a ton of these. There are loads of bosomy anime girls watching Tasting History, and pretty much always getting super into it. This is extremely funny to me, which I'm pretty sure means that I'm not crazy or obsessed, at least according to Dr. Nonsense of Fake University for Crazy People.

    For real, I love your stuff, you amazingly handsome man.
