Stephen has been abusing me since I was 9 years old. I have Tourette’s syndrome and he has worked to discredit me prior to my memories returning of him and the murders of Sharyn and Agnes Burkin in 1998. Since airing my Uncle’s extended interview and taking it down, my memories have returned and all attempts to confront have been met with abusive stonewalling and silence since making all those promise on air about wanting to solve the crime. He did it. My memories point to him.
Nice of her notnto correct Stephen’s grammatical error: it’s not ‘le bibliothèque’ but ‘LA bibliothèque’, as she certainly knows. After all she graduated from the Lycée Français.

I have seen this movie a couple of weeks ago here in France. If someone doubted Jodie Foster’s ability to speak a completely, totally flawless French, this is solid proof of it. Her character is an American psychiatrist and psycho-analyst who has a license to practice in France. Actually she is a bilingual analyst, meaning she has also Anglophone patients ; which is perfectly realistic given the number of English speakers living in Paris. But regarding her Francophone patients, you might think that it should be another story. I mean if there is a field where language in all its complexity requires precision and acuteness, both in expression and interpretation, it is psychotherapy, right ? However, here, Jodie maintains full credibility in the job from start to finish. Quite a performance.
I wish she was one of ours 🇨🇦but she's definitely an American treasure 🇺🇸 but hey a film she did in Vancouver BC won her the Oscar ❤

Stephen Colbert's French sounds pretty good as well (may be because he bears the name of a famous minister of Louis the 14th (the so called Sun King, the guy of Versailles) in the 17th century.

When she answers to the question "Où est le bibliothèque?" "le bibliothèque est derrière les toilettes" with a perfect french accent. Don't worry, she knew that the correct article in french is 'la bibliothèque". But she is Jodie Foster and she knows that you don't have to correct the mistakes of the people trying to speak another language. Elle est tout simplement d'une grande politesse.

Jodi Foster is so genuine, it’s a joy to see her being interviewed. She always answers from her heart, is truthful, and appears to enjoy telling her stories. She is amazing, thank you for interviewing her on your show, it was fantastic!
It's amazing how Jodie Foster has crafted a legacy where it's only her work that matters and not her personal life (though people have been prying on her sexuality for years, before she finally acknowledged it publicly). For someone who has been working in the film business since age 3 and has been a global movie star ever since her breakthrough year of 1976 at age 13, it's remarkable how well she transitioned to mature leading roles with her sanity & integrity intact. Not to mention between all the mayhem of stardom, she managed to graduate a rigorous french language prep school as a valedictorian, had a near perfect SAT score, graduated from Yale magna cum laude in comparative literature. Jodie Foster in every sense is exceptional & remarkable, someone who would be a better suit from a career in academics but somehow ended up being in the showbiz, since she had no choice & this remarkable intellect of her's is what distinguishes her from all of her peers or literally everybody in the film industry. A once in a generation talent.
She is terrific, and so smart. I feel like she's been there my whole life. First saw her on The Courtship of Eddie's Father when we were both very, very young.
