Lovely work. For the northern stairs I would choose the marine athmosphere. Creme and ocean blue. Or golden italian yellow with a special blue-green tone on the thin parts like cupboard relief. Lovely home. Excellent job. You are both so talented. Whatever you choose I am sure it will be beautiful.

The aubergine would be gorgeous for those stairs, most of the time dark colours work beautifully for smaller rooms.
For you office area and the stairs – I'd suggest a very dark navy blue — I'm thinking of the ceramic plaque in the room. I love the idea of dark wood cupboards.

If you guys are planning kids the upstairs would be a super cool kids bedroom/spare room with a Jack n Jill bathroom. The master is so nice I would keep that as the primary! 😊
I would have loved Mustard Yellow in the kitchen.
But observing your choices, you two really have a much different aesthetic, both are valid. Good choices for the two of you. Really individual choices. And really well suited to both your aesthetic and the house. Really could have gone either way. But really, it’s about presenting a cohesive environment, which you really nailed! Really well done.

Beautiful. I think that the style of the tiles on the kitchen wall is called Zellige. We've had that style in our kitchen for over 20 years. The "imperfections" give the walls in interesting texture.

Everything is absolutely stunning! In the office room, under the stairs, I think you should consider doing a section with exposed shelving so that it isn't quite so heavy, an entire wall of closets is so functional, but feels a bit heavy. Just my thoughts. I love all of the paint colors you've chosen as well! Can you come to Washington DC USA and help me renovate or at least design the house I grew up in question😂❤

Love your home. Such a lovely place. Looking forward to the next phase. I do like the darker shading in the office area but north facing on a dreary day in winter I would be wanting something more vibrant. Colors are emotional and I know you will pick the feel for you both . Happy New Year!
I would go light on the north facing room…especially since it’s a room that you will be passing through a lot. I think light colors age well.
