For our final Christmas in Paris vlog, I’m sharing two cherished elements of French Christmas tradition: a classic vin chaud recipe and the iconic bûche de Noël.

In this final postcard from Paris, we’re stepping into the rituals that define Christmas in France with the warm spiced wine served at winter markets and family gatherings, and the bûche de Noël that traditionally replaces cake on Christmas Eve.

I’ll walk you through the homemade vin chaud recipe I learned from my French friends. If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, this recipe can easily be adapted using grape juice and pomegranate juice, making it perfect for everyone at the table.

Whether you’re curious about Christmas in Paris, planning a Paris-inspired holiday at home, or simply love discovering the food and rituals that shape life abroad, I hope you enjoy this final Paris vlog for the Christmas season.

xoxo,
Adriel

  1. Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you. Thank you for all your videos and end the year 2025 with a soothing note.

  2. What a lovely year we’ve shared, my friend. I truly value you as well, and I’m looking forward to all that 2026 will bring.

As for me, I did have my total knee replacement—and oh my goodness, it has been quite the experience. I’m only nine days post-op, and I’ve already had three physical therapy sessions. They are intense, to say the least. I know this is all part of the healing process and ultimately for the best, but wow—it’s been painful in a way I’ve never felt before. Still, I’m taking it one day at a time and keeping the faith.
Sending love and gratitude always. ❤❤Susan❤️❤️

  5. What a lovely and bittersweet video, Adriel. I've really enjoyed this 'Postcard' series particularly now with the holiday season upon us. Looking forward to more great content in 2026. Joyeux Noel & Bonne Annee!✨🎄🍾🥂✨

  6. Just wanted to thank you for what you share with the world. I am also a YouTuber (mostly fragrance-focused tho sometimes art + all things French), located in the US, and hoping to move to France when or before I retire. I was in Paris in late November + early December last year and had the best time experiencing how the French celebrate, drinking vin chaud, walking + shopping + window shopping. I “found” your channel early this year and it is a true gift. You have such wonderful style + a beautiful perspective, thank you! Bonne + heureuse année! Best, Amy

  7. A taste 🍰☕ of December from somewhere "French" beyond the ⚓⛵seas to the here and now 🧘🧘🧘 unbounded transcendence -✍️📬❤!
