Join us for a Melbourne CBD staycation packed with food spots & historic venues during our relaxing stay at the Melbourne Marriott Hotel on Exhibition Street.
Day One – Pizza & CBD Nights
On our first night at the Marriott Melbourne, we head out for a light Italian dinner at Pepe’s Italian & Liquor. Set inside a beautifully restored historic Jewish synagogue dating back to 1859, the mid-20th-century Italian-American atmosphere makes it the perfect place to kick off our city escape.
Day Two – Croissants, Classics & Culture
After breakfast, we wander through the Melbourne CBD toward the hugely popular Lune Croissanterie, patiently lining up for some of the city’s best croissants — including the limited-edition Tim Tam collaboration.
With the café buzzing, we stroll down to the Birrarung Marr precinct along the Yarra River to enjoy our pastries with a view.
Second breakfast complete, we return to the city for a beer at the iconic Young & Jackson’s (originally Princess Bridge Hotel – est. 1861), home to the famous painting “Chloé.”
We wrap up the day back at the Melbourne Marriott Hotel, resting up in preparation of our upcoming last day plans.
Finale – French classics & M Club Luxury
After breakfast, we make the drive for a truly memorable three-course French lunch at Bistrot Thierry in Toorak where we imbibe and enjoy traditional French classics including French Onion Soup, Boeuf Bourguignon & the best Creme Brûlée EVER!
Quality, elegance & timeless class at this traditional French classic.
Fully satisfied, we return to our CBD home base to soak up the luxurious comforts of the Marriott M Club Lounge one last time — the perfect ending to a relaxing Melbourne staycation.

Great video showing off the best of Melbourne. Thanks for sharing
Are the Tim tam croissants cheaper at the airport?
Correct about Madisons. But the question is? Was it worth the wait for the Lune crossiants? 40 minutes is a long time to wait in my book.
Excellent video, looking sharp! Keep up the good work mate
