Welcome to another episode of Tasty Christmas with Tasty UK! Today, we’re making a delicious “hot drink” to enjoy with chocolate truffles, perfect for your “merry christmas” celebrations. This video shows you “how to make” this comforting “hot winter drink”, adding a new one to your collection of “christmas recipes”.

ery tasty, very Christmassy, and very French 🎄✨

Vin chaud will forever be one of my favourite festive rituals. It instantly takes me back to Christmas with my family in France, warming spices gently simmering on the stove, slow conversations and a little chocolate truffle on the side. Comfort at its best.

This is how I make my vin chaud at home:

Ingredients
• 1 bottle of red wine (or alcohol free red wine if you prefer)
• 100g of a mix of unrefined sugar and maple syrup
• 1 orange
• 2 clementines
• 2 cinnamon sticks
• 2 star anise
• 2 cloves

Method
Add everything to a pan, gently warm over a medium heat and allow the sugar to dissolve, the fruit to soften and the spices to slowly infuse. Do not boil.
Serve hot in a mug or heatproof wine glass.

Best enjoyed slowly, with people you love and a good chocolate truffle ✨

Drink well & live well.
