Bonjour and welcome back!
This week, I’m sharing a gentle rhythm of Christmas preparations here in the French countryside — from a small winter refresh in the kitchen, to wrapping presents, infusing a festive drink, and creating a wreath from our foraged foliage.
I added a brass rail above the stove, a simple change that already brings warmth and character to the room. As December unfolds, I enjoy letting small traditions blossom: preparing a spiced drink to gift, wrapping presents with collected papers and little handmade adornments, and gathering greenery for a wreath on our front door.

I'm excited to see the new home they are buying but will miss the old one. The pot rack in your kitchen is the perfect addition to the space. J’adore emballer les cadeaux aussi, ça rajoute vraiment un peu de magie ! d’ailleurs ma maman m’a toujours appris depuis petite à ouvrir les cadeaux soigneusement,sans déchirer le paquet. Nous avions des sacs remplis de papiers cadeaux que l’on pouvait réutiliser.
